Inspired by the remarkable success of the Village at Glencliff in Nashville, TN, we’re dedicated to establishing a Medical Respite Facility that offers both immediate relief and long-term hope to those in need.

The Village at Glencliff

Picture this: You or someone you know has been hospitalized, and upon discharge, there's no safe place to go. For too many, this scenario leads to a return to the streets, which can be especially harsh and dangerous for those needing medical care. The Village at Glencliff provides a beautiful solution. This nonprofit organization, nestled in the warmth of Glencliff United Methodist Church's campus, offers 12 tiny homes where individuals can recover, find safety, and receive support to transition into permanent housing.

We see the same need for a compassionate, well-coordinated approach to help our most vulnerable neighbors in Johnson City. At Unity Housing, we believe our community has the heart and resources to replicate and even expand upon Nashville’s model. By providing a dedicated space for recuperative care, we’re not just addressing a healthcare gap; we’re fostering community resilience and personal empowerment.
