Our Approach
Unity Housing is working to address a critical gap in services by building a Medical Respite Facility in Johnson City, TN. This facility will support individuals experiencing homelessness who are too unwell for street life but not sick enough for hospitalization. Medical Respite Facilities are research-backed and effective, because they offer a unique healing environment with coordinated care to help residents transition to stable housing and regain independence, while also reducing healthcare costs for the community.
